Customise Colours Traktor Pro
I don’t know whether my :eek: are playing tricks on me, but does anyone know how to change the Waveform colours or seperate deck colours in Traktor Pro…
I saw the article on the home page “Record Yourself Inside Traktor-Tutorial” and it has this image which to me is a sweet colour config…
If anyone could fill me in, would be much appreciated!!!

NI sends Ean Golden SE Traktor Pro for being a BAMF. I was wondering about changing some of the contents files in traktor pro to hopefully do this, that would probably be too easy though, (Changing a reference color value in a config file I hope) but probably it will not be so easy.
I dunno if I’d waste my time photoshopping that tbh…

It just looks way too perfect to be a photoshop job…
Then again the actual tutorial has the standard colour scheme, so the probablity of it being a photoshop job has just increased…

Its a photoshop trick. He simply went to his color settings and changed the hue spectrum.
The real question is why can’t this be done easily within Traktor Pro? It is certainly not hard to program and is a feature that was available in 3. I just don’t understand why they would take something out that is so easy to include. Aesthetics are very important to some people and may even influence a buying decision, why not make your product appeal to a broader range by offering choices? 
Would be cool, but I guess it would also hog on your resources… Just my guess as a GUI designer 
I like pretty colors, but I don’t need another reason to look at my computer as it is.
Yeah i dont really care what it looks like either as long as its layed out so i can see whats going on with an instant look while also being highly visible enough to see read things like song titles from a distance.
I have to say though being able to customise the interface would be cool, as long at allowed me to really get my hands dirty with the interface as opposed to just being a skin job.
What i would really like though is being able to turn the interface around “Reason style” and plug in devices of my choosing and wire them up to my personal taste drools
While NI are at it they could build us in a copy of Reaktor into Traktor and we would never have to ask them for feature updates oursevles because we could just build them
I love the fact that you can “manually” wire your rig in reason. And the little animation. YEAH!
is the s4 software wavelengths grey by default or can they be changed to yellow like traktor pro?
Nope not changable in S4.
The new Traktor 2 has 4 different colours for the waveforms.
Ultraviolet (blue)
Infrared (orangey/yellow)
Xray (white/grey)
Spectrum (multicoloured)

You can however change the look of the grey in Decks> Channels in preferences. I think I have mine set to beats and highs.
In S4 yeah but not in T2. That option no longer exists.
2 weeks on friday… gawd it’s still a long time to wait.
