Dancification: Best and Worst?
Crappy weather here in the UK for over two weeks now it seems…then I come across this…
Currently #1 on the Beattport Progressive House chart, already over exposed and over covered, but up for one more stab I guess…but this version is bloody god awful (IMHO) - one of the worst dancifications of a track I have had the misfortune to hear - so trite and predicable.
On the other hand, I thought this was very well done…
Of course, one of the real classics of this has got to be Silence, which even though sang by a huge star was originally written by a couple of (ex-)industialists (they are/were Front Line Assembly). I think Delerium has all but split up now, but at their best they were pretty darn good at writing songs that allowed vocalists to sound like angels. Here’s the original:

I’ve seen this done live and Kristy Thirsk can really sing this.
