DDJ SX2 w/ Serato+DJM 2000 Nexus signal drop issues

Had my DDJ SX2 w/ serato built in going into a channel on DJM 2000 Nexus and had signal drop issues.

Got channel and master signal on DDJ, and on DJM, started playing and then full signal drop out DJM and DDJ.

Full serato restart, plays on computer, signal would show up on DDJ but not on DJM, or would show up on DDJ but wouldn’t cue in headphones.

-DDJ was connected to DJM via RCA, tried multiple RCA’s
-Tried 3 different USB’s to connect computer/DDJ
-Tried 2 channels on mixer, same results
-Serato was updated to most recent version
-6.48GB avail on Mac running 10.12.3 Sierra

Does this sound like:
-DDJ Soundcard issue?
-Possible bad RCA master on DDJ?
-Need more CPU space?
-Other?

Wanting to get an idea before sending off DDJ for repair.

is all your hardware on its latest firmware?

Sounds like it could be a DDJ issue. If you have a desktop at home or can borrow a friends laptop I would try seeing if the issue is still present while using the DDJ with a different computer.

It wouldn’t hurt to free up some space on your hard drive as well.
