I agree with this. At least Deamau5 has the guts to try and be slightly different with every other track he does. Unlike Guetta who’s kicks all sound the same!
Guetta has aimed for commercial stardom, Deamau5 hasn’t so much.
Okay wich one of you posted this to reddit a few days ago ? 
Haven’t posted here in awhile, but why do you guys hate on guetta, wolfgang, or deadmau5? Sure their sound isn’t really my thing but they’re famous, making loads of money, and partying every night. I am begging for the day when the whole ‘mainstream’ thing gets put to rest at last, I can’t stand that.
This is just my opinion:
When a producer starts making a track that is aimed towards a broader audience (in other words mainstream) then it’s more about catchy melodies and white noise and low pass filters and stuff like that. I feel that in 99% of such cases a lot of depth that makes the song enjoyable is lost.
But I’m talking more about pitbull and lady gaga in stead of deadmaufive
