Decision: SeismicAudio & MixDeck - Advice on Subwoofer
Hello Folks,
After a lot of advice and reading around and looking at my particular circumstances, I decided to get a modest gear to start my DJ adventure. I settled on:
MixDeck (Mixdeck | Numark)
Given budget contraints went for a pair of Seismic Audio PWS-12 speakers: Pro Audio Speakers & Equipment for Live Sound PA DJs, Musicians & More – Seismic Audio
Now, I need an advice on how to connect my subwoofer. I have an BIC-PL-200 subwoofer: http://www.amazon.com/BIC-PL-200-Acoustech-Platinum-Series/dp/B001W3FXAQ
This is a powered subwoofer with the following specs:
Front-Firing 12" Long-Throw Powered Subwoofer with state-of-the-art BASH amplifier
1000 Watts Dynamic Peak Output, 250 Watts RMS Continuous
Frequency Response: 22Hz - 200Hz, adjustable crossover & volume controls
Sensitivity: 110dB @ 30Hz
12" poly-injected, with high power magnet and long excursion surround
The sub has sets of RCA inputs and outputs as well as a SUB-IN jack. Since I am not using a home audio receiver and the mixdeck does not have an SUB-OUT jack, how do I connect the subwoofer to my rig? Is it possible to connect it to my PWS-12s?
Thanks - Oyiwaa
