[Deep house] Chebiva - Mumble Mumble
Finally back at producing after a really busy month..just ending high school and with work and finishing like 3 huge projects I’ve been so overloaded. Feels nice to just get some chillin tunes done
Really digging this mate, solid stuff. Mix down sounds good, just need to bring out those pads a bit more. Could be something as simple as a warm compressor like the CLA-76 or some simple chorus to give it some more space and stereo imaging.
And for that off hat, instead of something that’s very “clanky” maybe try something it a bit more “sheen” like a soft, short ride for example? Would give it a bit more air and bounce as well I think.
But overall one of the better tracks I’ve heard on here in a long time. Keep at it mate, you have something special going on.
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback as always. I actually did use a warm compressor on it, and in the wav version of the song it sounds decent. I think either through the conversion to mp3 or uploading it to soundcloud made it lose its wide, analog sound. Like the bass sounds extremely digital, one thing I hate about soundcloud.
I don’t know much about deep house, but I think the synths (melodic stuff) can be a bit harder? Just a tiny bit?
But it’s chilly, I like it 
I’d say it’s far from chilly. It’s got a rocking, solid groove that does the business. This is something you would play at 4am that would drive the crowd into a frenzy and keep the party going
I like it and would play it in one of my sets.
