Default Fader Volume

Hello-

I am super new to mappings and I am attempting to mod an existing tsi for my apc40 for traktor pro. I mapped the fader volumes to the faders on the apc, but when I load a new track onto the deck, the default jumps up to max volume. Since I mix mainly with the upfaders I was wondering if there was an easy way to keep the volume all the way down when the track is loaded.

I’m wondering if there is something REALLY basic that I’m overlooking since 40 people have looked at this and not one reply…:confused:

Preferences>loading>untick “reset all mixer controls when loading track”
