Deleting Traktor track collection
Due to switching between computers and multiple iTunes libraries my Traktor track collection has gotten very sloppy with dead tracks and quaddruplicates. Does anyone know if I delete my track collection will I lose my beat grids for tracks?
Traktor Pro should write beatgrids into the mp3 tag. However Traktor 3 does not.
Run a consistency check next time you start up traktor. This will show the dead tracks and you can remove these from the collection. Personally i keep the traktor collection separate from iTunes, As i run everything thru mixed in key and platinum notes.
Me too. Glad to see someone else as ocd about their tracks as I am.
Well i always keep the full albums in iTunes, but for traktor i wont play anything under 192Kbps, and also it takes bloody ages to run tracks through mixed in key. Have only just started to run the collection through PN, and OMG it makes them sound amazing! takes about an hour to process ten tracks so should be done in 2-3 months haha.
