Denon ds1 and pioneer ddj-sx for 2 dvs decks and 2 digital decks?
Anyone know if it is possible to make this happen? I think it is, just depends if the software will let you use 2 sound cards (the SX would require its internal sound card, and the DS1 is the DVS sound card).
Sucks the SX isn’t getting updated to get DVS capabilities like the SX2 did. Serato DJ is way too confusing by being too simple.
You cannot make it work if I remember correctly.
Something about Serato DJ not being able to function properly when two primary controllers/soundinterfaces are connected at the same time. You can use one primary and several Serato DJ accessories.
Only way you can make it work is by not connecting SX with USB, just using it as a mixer. But that is just a waste of a good controller.
Also, SX cannot be “updated” to get DVS capabilities because it’s inputs are not connected to the soundinterface so it cannot pass the timecode via USB to the software, that’s why Pioneer made SX2
