Which ones are the best? what options are out there? I knew Numark made some tts that would accept cds, but they’ve been discontinued for a while. 
Do you mean CDJs?
Denon SC2900s or Pioner CDJ850s/900s if you have money. Otherwise you can get alternatives like the Stanton CMP800.
No he means moving platter CDJs.
The Numark CDXs had various faults with the CD drive’s ribbon cable; the HDX was much better but also less common and therefore pricier now. The best CD-playing unit atm is the Denon SC-3900, and for MIDI control the Stanton SCS.1d.
