Different configurations/mapping for the same midi controller in TSP

Hi

I hope somebody can help me on this. I own TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO and when I play into clubs I use it with timecode controls but when I play in pubs or similar (and I do not have a console) I control it with an Hercules MK2 (midi controller).

Now, since in a lot of small clubs they do not have mixers with decent effects, I bought an AKAI LPD8 to use it to control the very nice effects you can find in TSP. So I think I will map the controller for this use.
But when I play with the MK2 I would still like to use the LPD8 for cuepoints or so. This means that the LPD8 should have one type of mappings when used with timecode and another type of mappings when used with the MK2.

Now, is this possible? And if yes how do I switch from one configuration to the other?

I have another question: I upgraded to version 1.2.2 and I cannot find the MIDI SETUP option anymore in the PREFERENCES menu. The Hercules still works, but is this normal?

you could just make two individual mappings and load the one you need for the gig into traktor.
otherwise the lpd8 has different banks where you can put multiple controls on one pad/knob..

how do I “load” them?
or do you mean that I have two .tsi files and drag into the traktor folder the one i am gonna use next? I hope we do have another solution… :confused:
