I definitely like it more than the original. I may be missing some of the sub bass because I’m listening in headphones and I dont have a sub, but it still sounds good. The only thing I can say is maybe the levels are little bit low, but again that may be because of the headphones. I used HD25 II’s and MDR7506’s to check it out.
The levels are definitely a bit low, I wanted to leave a bit of headroom in general for dynamic range and ran out of time to really master the master channel. I think this is also detectable in the slight “seperation” between the instruments, because I haven’t really processed the master chain at all.
But in theory if my incredibly inappropriate off-genre remix is beloved by the Brazilian/Mexican label owners, whose taste as indicated by the original runs towards electro house bangers, they would master it for release. And I ran out of time. Heh..
