digital dj competition?
Just wondering if an admin can tell me when entries for the competition end? I am going to make a video today and ope it’s not too late! I have been pretty busy lately.
Yeah I wanted to as well but have been so damn busy past 2 months. Have a gig & website I needed to do design/concepts for over the weekend as well so sadly no bali for me :'[
I have less than 24hrs to submit a set…
Me 2! I got the video all done… but now I just gotta edit it the thing. Adobe Premiere is kinda fun though. 
I’m glad I did this cuz I’m learning stuff about video editing too.
Damn… it came down to the wire… I thought I wasn’t going to make it when Premiere told me it’d take 2 hours to encode the video.

nice mix! what gear do you use apart from that slick modded guitar? The girl in the pink was going wild! any tips to getting a good grasp on four tracks at once?

As far as equipement I’ll have time to explain 4 decks soon. I just got an email from Ean saying I need a 30 min mix to be considered for the Bali resort as well… I was under the impression that only finalists had to do this. So that leaves me with only a couple of hours to put it together. 
Hopefully, I already have stuff that works for this.

Fair play, that mix was insane! The funny thing is there was so much going on and yet you didn’t look one bit flustered! I’m guessing you were workin on that mix for a while and then recorded it?! Cos otherwise…

The guitar is triggering cue points on Gossip - Standing in the way of Control. Kaiser Chiefs - Love is not a Competition But I’m winning is the outgoing track. I was trying to show the cue points jumping around on the right side of the screen… maybe it’s not big enough to see?
Anyhow, you could download the two tracks and try it yourself. It’s not that hard… I just wanted to do a little tribute to Ean and the DJTechTools community.
