What about creating a simple database here? Like, a go to for these MIDI controllers? Not tips and tricks or anything, but quick user based reviews? I know it was really hard to figure out what to buy when I was looking for new gear, especially when I was first getting into this stuff. Skratchworx was really helpful but… well, it catered to a different angle (the turntablism side of the coin).
you might want to change M Audio M Session Pro into M Audio X Session Pro.
Also, you could add the Behringer BCR2000 as a dj controller and the Novation nocturn.

The whole idea of this thread is for user based reviews, someone starts up a topic for a piece of digital dj gear and if you have one you can add to how cool / bad it is. Then all someone needs do is search this thread for the piece of equipment they want to check out and we have user comments on it. There need be no list, this thread IS the list.
I agree, moderation has not been very strict up to this point keep things flowing. I personally think more threads need to be opened, especially for separate threads hardware and software questions which will certainly take the confusion and heat off this thread. Hopefully allowing people to be more constructive as opposed to asking hardware questions, which i do not think is suited to this thread.
I am not about to go jumping ahead doing this without Eans approval/opinions as i am sure he would certainly like a say on things before posts start getting organised en mass!
If anyone has an idea of what threads you would like to see opened now would would be a good time to mention them
Alright i have gone though this list and carved out a lot of the stuff that should not have been here in the first place. As for new child forums that can wait until our community grows some more
