Hi guys,

I was wondering how SAVOY got his kick with sub to have such a rumbling effect on the drop:

I’m trying to do something similar but my kick doesn’t have that feel yet.

Start with a 808 and compress the shit out of it I’d say, and possibly add a bit of tape saturation to taste

Horrible track by the way, if you like that you should check out Julio Bassmore or Eats Everything, something has some musical taste at least.

Ok let me try the tape saturation.

It worked pretty well. Now all I need to do is some mastering and the track is done.

There’s a lot of good people who do mastering for a decent price. How much are you looking to spend?
