why are those diodes required? I dont remember Ean talking about them in his video
The circuit boards have multiple connections between buttons. The diodes keep The current from flowing backward and affecting other buttons. Diodes keep the flow of electricity flowing in one direction.

I literally just finished my mod like 1 minutes ago. It works beautifully. I just desoldered the old Diodes and used those.
