DIY Controller Using Arcade Controller Interface
i am looking into building a DIY controller, a bit like the MIDI Fighter, using this interface :
i would then use Fergo JoystickMidi to use it with traktor
i was thinking if there was any possibility of using rotary encoders or pots with this interface, or would i need a different one?

It says 2 joysticks - that’s four rotary potentiometers. Not so sure about connecting rotary encoders.

Make sure your pots are 10k. Read manual and see which of the connections are analog inputs.
i would recommend you the HaleUMC32+ it’s midi so you don’t have to use a anoying software converter and it has 40 I/O (8 digital 32 digital/analog)

do you know where i could buy one in the uk?
so the analog inputs are pots, and digital are switches/buttons?

The schematic is a bit unclear - I would check that the joystick inputs are analogue.
Some of those arcade controllers use key presses as joystick movements.

yeah, I just had a look at the joysticks by the same seller, and they have 4 microswitches underneath them, just like the buttons
