DJ Garage/Mancave

I’ve built my own little mancave (small night club?) in my detached garage, where I have all my DJ buddies over to play tunes, drink a few beers, and have a good time. It’s been a work-in-progress over the past 3 years.

Here’s my friend Terry rocking a techno set:

Setup consists of:
2 x QSC K12’s (no sub… it’s PLENTY for this space)
2 x Technics 1210’s
2 x Pioneer CDJ-800s
Pioneer DJM-500
Traktor S4
Late model 15" Macbook Pro

4 x American DJ Mega Bar 50
Some little Chauvet RGB controller

Custom bar/booth

Just a little spot for me to unwind and have some fun on the weekends. :slight_smile:

When I moved in I took the time to speak to all of my neighbors, give them my number, and tell them to let me know if things ever get too loud or if there are parking issues. I’ve never had a problem. Definitely worth having the conversation. :slight_smile:

I wish I had a room for that.

Only thing I would say maybe go for some smaller wall mountable cabs, that way it will get rid of those tripod legs and will look much cleaner.

I actually have moved them since (to the back corners of the room) and only one of them is on a tripod. Looks much better now… I’ll have to get a pic/video update.

I have a little cheap Chauvet unit that they’re connected to, only so I don’t have to reach up so high, but I have to constantly adjust the sensitivity on it. I think some day it’d be nice to have a better controller, but it works fine for my little house parties :slight_smile:
