Wow, lots of rack mount gear. Do you still get much use out of those old Akai samplers?

Great setup…love the Akais…especially the S950…was my first sampler ever…
Yeah I do but mostly for when I’m doing hip hop tracks as I like the sound of the samples coming through them where they don’t sound as clean as when they come through my MPC 2000.
Yeah I got my eye on one right now (S950) as well but I’m moving to a bigger space before I can even consider spending the money for it right now.
The S950 is definitely a workhorse but the S1000 does so much more.
