DJ gig, In a fashion store. need some more music.

Hi, Sooooo long since I posted anything here now. But glad to see that there is stil a lot of activity here:slight_smile:

Anyways, I have this gig coming up. Basicly in a Fashion store, and they have a release with some design things.

So i prepared some Deep House from 118 - 125 bpm.

My question is. Is there any web pages out there i should go to find this type of music? What im after and like to play, is commercial or old songs being remixed into electronic music.

Yes i know about Beatport:stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you in advance:slight_smile:

This, is without a doubt, the worst thread title I have ever laid eyes upon.

Oki oki, so i should change it to?

play breakcore

Oh dear

Jamie xx all the way, clothes stores love The xx.

Hipster indie dance stuff. Go to the store now and hear what they’re playing. Go to other “fashion” stores like H&M or F21 to hear that kind of stuff. The guy who runs http://www.etmusiquepourtous.com/ posts some of that stuff, and he’s one of those guys who produces playlists for retailers.

Thank you, they asked for deep house, and i got alot of it. Just wanted to go a little deeper into the genre:slight_smile:

Last time i went into the store, they played justin bieber. Not going down that path:stuck_out_tongue:

Majestic Casual youtube channel. all you need.

Back in like 2000, my buddy used to have a weekly gig playing dnb at a clothing store. It always seemed awkward, but I guess they wanted to look futuristic and edgey or something. They paid him $100 an hour on a Saturday afternoon and it was right next door to the record shop. Not a bad deal.

Understatement?

Play some Disclosure, the people there will eat that right up.

Rac

indie rock and cross fader with some nu-disco thrown in.

Obviously. It was a great time in both of our lives. Met so many girls just because we played dnb. Those days are kind of done though. #ravedays
