# DJ mixes on YouTube and such

**DJ mixes on YouTube and such**
Hi All
Been giving the old live streaming a go and posting mixes on various easy to find platforms(I’ve lost a lot of interest in Mixcloud as a platform to really gain exposure for mixes). So I mainly live stream on periscope, Chew TV and you tube live. All three work well but I’d like to post the recorded mix on SoundCloud and YouTube. Luckily enough no issues on SoundCloud but I have had 2 videos blocked on YouTube. I get the whole copy write rules and stuff, but I’ve seen many other mixes on YouTube with no issues and How do channels/organisations like Mixmag and boiler room get away with posting Dj sets online?

Create a tracklist. Contact the artists/publishers/labels on the tracklist for approval. submit the written approval through youtube’s dispute process.
