Groove, at all costs avoid this piece of trash…the big “payoff” (I think) is when John Digweed points at the record when the breakdown happens in Heaven Scent…
i think this is supposed to be a comedy, but it was actually just really depressing at the best of times and a total embarrassment to film at the worst.
if two hours (or what seems like two hours) of adolescent poop jokes against an ibiza backdrop is your idea of a good movie, don’t miss this masterpiece…
Man, don’t diss the DJ Girl movie. After all, the trailer alone teaches us some absolutely essential techniques.
Step back from the decks and throw your hands up from time to time.
In case of trainwrecking or needle skipping, point at some chick and shout “she hit the decks”. That will resolve the problem of a booing crowd.
It also teaches us a style lesson. There’s always a Gunther around, and if you want to be a gunther yourself, you should look a little something like this:
Looks like a pretty amazing movie to me. The only thing that exceeds it the very informative classic “Clockstoppers”, which teaches us that if you seriously lack skills, especially when it comes to doing headspins on your 1210s, it’s good to have those two friends near who can slow down time and help you with that.
Doood, I hated this movie so much, just hated it. it was just a complete abortion.
IT’s all gone pete tong was awesome.
Groove was awsome to you just had to be there back in the 90s when there where map points in random alley ways, partys getting shut down and then re opening, Groove was like many nights I had in a movie form. Love that movie.
yeah honestly i HATED groove when it first came out, i must’ve been 15 or 16 at the time - still obsessed with the rave scene, so found it offensive for whatever reason.
but i saw it again maybe 6 months ago and enjoyed it… it’s really cheesy and camp, but not terrible if you don’t take it too seriously.
