There was a DJ in my city named Knave (pronounced the same). But he ended up changing it to Adulture. lol

Did everyone come up with their dj name first time? I went through about 4 (horrifically cringy ones) before I just got lazy and decided to go with Max One (my name is max and adding a ‘one’ on the end is common as muck - but i like it though, two three letter words, etc).
One of them was DJ Vu (like dae ja vu but not… oh dear)
Another was DJ Getafix (please kill me).
We are talking like 15 years ago but still. shamefull thinking about it now.

i can barely even begin to explain why but my nickname was dexter in high school, so a bunch of people called me dex. so DEKS was an easy leap from there, a phonetic spelling of my nickname, also reminiscent of the two ~decks~ we all work with. once i get i can figure out the best way to produce the drops i was asking about im makin one like “YOU ARE NOW EXPERIENCING DEKSTASY” or something gnarly like that
