TORQ but was just running straight vinyl to learn on some stanton t.50’s

Somewhere in between went out and bought some techniques 1200s, had some fun

Upgraded to some cdjs 1000 mk3s and a beringher mixer after learning the basics by ear, and upgrading DVS to Traktor

Didn’t like the feel of the beringher mixer and switched over to the djm 400 (great little mixer)

Upgraded to the djm 700 not much later after the 400, switched to the club standard around here of Serato

Got an extra cdj 1000 mk3 to add more to my mixing

Got the s4, sold the 700 and ran my cdjs through the s4

Sold cdjs and got the xone 42 and some cash in my pocket

Got some 800s, launch pad and running bridge

Yeah, why the downgrade? I love the MK3’s and wouldn’t want to go back to the 800’s.

Haha! I’ve had the MK3 for a while. The only reason I got the 850’s was for the HID, but it didn’t work for Traktor only Serato, even after the 2.5.1 update. Sold the 850’s to another DJTT user that would appreciate them and now saving up for the 2000’s.

i see…hehe not sure if my saved up money would go to another cd deck or used them for more record & perfume buying (yes i’m addicted to online shopping & crazy hoarding of perfumes now)

@lilac it really does help, can go from something as simple as looping a beat to keep the dance floor from dying or to something as awesome as live mash ups using acapellas and instrumentals

djing & music can never pay my bills lol…for me the best place to spin is in the bedroom
i’ve grown up & found myself really not liking the nightlife/party scene at all
