DJ Panda’s Bedroom Setup
My setup consists of:
Traktor Kontrol S2
Allen and Heath Xone:K2 (just arrived) 
Odyssey L-stand
HP Envy 15 laptop (mac soon)
Pair of ANCIENT pioneer loudspeakers from the 80s
Beats/Sennheiser phones
American DJ Dual Gem Pulse (sound active mode)
I positioned my dual gem pulse right behind my laptop so its hidden. It projects on the slanted ceiling above to create a nice effect

How’s the K2? I’ve got an S2 right now, looking into adding the Xone.
How’ve you got it hooked up?
Its great ! Controller is really responsive, great feel on knobs, but majority I think is made of plastic, like the body and stuff, but the front plate I believe is metal so there shouldn’t be too many build problems. Right now I haven’t specifically mapped it, just got it 2 days ago in the mail, for now I’m using the X1 emulator mapping that comes with it. Its a great addon controller if you’re not interested in just the X1 or the upcoming F1… I honestly might be getting the F1 as well. However, I prefer this controller over the X1 because of the faders… <3 and nice led matrix (very bright as well) that you can map to your liking, as well as the layer function. Its great as an addon controller to the S2, IMO. It comes shipped with a nice case that doubles as a stand as well as a resource CD. Also, its very lightweight but it was bigger than I thought it would be , but a great controller nonetheless.
I´m also owning a S2 and thinking about the k2 to hook it up with. I see ur still using 2 channels to play on traktor, but with the k2 u should be able to controle 4 channels + 2 s2 channels right? I actually want to controle 2 channels with S2 and 1 channel with K2, rest of the k2 channels to controle samples and effects. You think that’s possible?
Anything is possible!!! bbbbbaahahahaa but I didn’t realize how big the k2s were. From pictures I imagined them to be smaller for some reason and that concerned me, for I do not like itsy bitsy faders. I want one now but those speakers are dope. I just bought a whole pioneer system from the 80s from goodwill for $15!!! I just djed a friends house party with them and they were quite adequate. Mix on panda
