Brooklyn area is where the cool stuff is. That’s what cats are telling me

I don’t think so.

Don’t shoot the messenger that’s what my dudes in Jersey are saying lol. Where’s it at then?

The world ends at 96th street. (and also at Battery Park).

Rock and Soul 7th ave. bet. 35 & 36 street Tell Sharon DJ.O sent ya! They have everything and will match lowest price! Good luck!!

Had no clue TT Lab was in NYC! Going there in a couple weeks when I visit NYC!

No joke - the first time I went, (to get the pitch on my 1200s fixed) I couldn’t find any parking and called the store in traffic. Two people came out to help me carry the tables and one sat in my car for me while we settled up. A+ customer service.

It’s great. I bought my first Machine there! There’s also A1 records around the block.

I’m actually staying at the same block as TT lab so I’ll definitely stop by everywhere within 5-10 minutes walk.

I mostly wanna just look at vinyl and whatnot since I think I’m set on gear for now. Although I wouldn’t mind getting a chance to play around with a CDJ setup.

Turntablelab, A-1, and rock and soul are all great stores for vinyl.

I don’t think they’ll likely have this set up at TTL. They usually have three turntables set up for you and another person to listen to vinyl.

You could stop by Dubspot on 14th street!

Wait, I thought Dubspot was a school? They sell gear too?

Yes Dubspot is a school. They do rent gear. You wrote that you wanted to try a CDJ setup, which you probably could do at a Dubspot open house (and someone would likely be there to help you if you had questions). Turntablelab will most likely have CDJs behind glass only.

if you want to try out a cdj setup honestly just go to guitar center

I would rarely ever buy anything there but they tend to have stuff out to play with, just bring a flash drive
