Hi guys,
I really need your advices.
half a year ago, I bought two i.Scratch CD-Players. Till now I had no problems withe them. Yesterday they worked fine, but when I wanted to turn them on today, one of these doesn´t work right. So when I turned on, only the “Pitch Range”, “Pitch On/Off” and the “CD LED” were lighting. All other lights and the display don´t work and I could hear no noice that the CD is rotating.
So does anybody know why this is, and what to do against?
I don´t know if it is importat to know, but I don´t use the Power On/Off botton to turn it off, i only unplug the two CD-Players and a Beringer DJX700 direktly from the grid. Can this be the cause of why it doesn´t work yet?
This may be the problem. By plugging electronic gadgets directly to wall or extension sockets and leaving them always “on” may have caused a damaging effect during unstable electrical surge currents.
The switches were made and installed to be used and not bypass them. It’s a matter of common sense you know.
Or rather, do you think that it is a problem with the software or the hardware?
I have forgotten to mention that view weeks ago, the player did work, but it played only 3 seconds of a track and then it jumped back to the beginning.
