Sometimes take out the coffin cased Denon 3500’s/DNX1500.
Using the rack mount 4500’s, and MC6000 mainly at the mo.

It’s funny, because you rarely see dual deck, non-modular setups anymore…nice rig! I used to rock one like that for my mobile gigs/

Taken last week..
Yea, the dual rack system, allows me to put a DNMC6000MK2 in the slot where my DN-x500 had been. Allows CD backup, and another laptop backup. If one lappy fails, I just plug and go into the other. The launchpads are for advanced Traktor controls, and the backup laptop launchpad has added functionality on traktor so it can be used to control extra decks if required. It’s like a nu-old-skool dual setup. As ya can probably see the cd decks are off when this pic was taken..
This is the other coffin case setup mentioned earlier in thread. Gear has a good few years and miles on it, but still works a treat.
In background, a DN-HD2500 configured as a MIDI controller, and the orange squares is an Akai LPD8.

Out of all the dual-deck cd players I’ve used, the Denons always were my favorite. For some reason mixing was so much easier on them.
