I’m a 15 year old dj and a talent agency said they would sponsor me if I could think of a gimmick? I’m having trouble thinking of ideas. They gave an example of dj babychino -___- basically said that his gimmick was being so young haha. just curious as to if you guys had any ideas!

How about your gimmick is having some self respect and not wearing a mask/“funny” t-shirt/sunglasses indoors, etc… like so many sponsored DJ’s?

Tell them the gimmick you have is actually playing good… that’s if you play good of course

dress like a UN soldier, use UN symbolism

yellow bruce lee jumpsuit

karate outfit

wear a monitor on your chest that mirrors the desktop

suit covered in tiny mirrors

How about wearing a giant animals head whilst playing a pre-recorded set. Both work separately so bound to work together. Could also get a pop rapper to join you ons stage just in case.

Or, don’t sign up with a talent agency and sell yourself for a gimmik.
