DJ’ing over Teamspeak ( VoIP program )
Hi guys
I have been struglling a few days to set my Traktor up to link to another program with my audio
VAC - Virtual Audio Cable wont work really
Jack Audio Connection Kit - Is primarly written for Linux to link sounds and music over a VoIP program
All I want to do is to get Traktor’s music over Teamspeak directly and not put my mic to my speakers because the sound quality aint greate.
Please help me setup it correctly or link me to a program
I am using Windows 7 32 bit
Traktor Pro 2
and Team Speak 3
Thanks guys
I used to mess about doing this with Vent. There’s some simple settings I had to change to take the line in instead of the mic in.
The best place to look for the specific change with the program you want, is on the Teamspeak forums themselves. Look up playing itunes over teamspeak, or something similar.
It’s not difficult to do, but takes some playing with the software. When I was heavy into gaming is when I used to do it, and it’s what led me to this website in the firstplace because I was playing iTunes over vent for the crew I was playing with, and was looking into taking it to the next level. Step in finding about the VCI-100SE, and then doing years of research before my first setup lol.
I know it’s much simpler in vent rather than teamspeak. But hey, it’s doable somehow. If nothing else, set up another computer with teamspeak and take the line out from the computer with traktor, and plug it in to the computer with teamspeak.
It doesn’t look simple (just did a quick google search) but mess about and you WILL get it!

I got a soundcard for my headphones so i used the stereo mix option works perfectly
I set the playback on recordings tab on my Omni and ticked Listen to listen to my own music everything works now thanks alot
