Djm-600 for DVS

Djm-600 for DVS

Has anyone used a Djm-600 with a traktor DVS system? I have a chance to buy one for 500 bucks and I’m wondering if I’ll have any regrets, as I’ve been looking at the Z2 for a while now. I’ll probably add an A6 for my scratch. Any issues with xfader/EQ/effects/general sound quality? I’m used to gear slightly newer than old generation Pio.

Thank you!

I’ve got one and its fine

I’d go for the Z2.

£350 for a DJM-600 REALLY isn’t worth it. It’s a basic 4 channel mixer, and there are FAR better alternatives on the market atm for much less money. Mixer effects aren’t really worth toffee anyway, not when you’ve got Traktor effects available to you.

DJM600 is fine for DVS, but tbh you are better off getting a newer mixer for the same price mate.

Yeah looks like I’m shelling out for the Z2. Thanks boys

Good choice

Z2 > djm600

Don’t kick grandad

Hahaha, unfortunately this time… it must be done.

Yeah … i absolutely love our '600 .. maybe it is just for sentimental reasons, as my new denon owns it in every respect

(As a new dj of only 2 years experience) I understand that the 600 was the standard back “in the day” as much is the 900 is now. I definitely respect that. I think I’ve always been drawn to the Pio effect processors and build quality. But it looks like if I want to grow my skills more, its off to the retirement home with this old bastard! Heres to the new.

Considered a DJM 750 or 850 off ebay?

I have, but I think for the price of a 750 (about $1000) I would opt for a DB2 instead. Not sure if im willing to hover into that price bracket without scratch certification.
