Does the 800 kit bolt straight onto the 900? I have no qualms in changing wiring . Do you have any instructions as I’d love to do this on mine 
definitely does not bolt straight in, you have to change the wiring from the 900 faders to the 800 kit rotary and have the 900’s plate cut almost in half to fit the 800 rotary plate like you can see in the pic I attached in the first post
Then I am definitely are not as brave as you are lol. Not unless I can find a spare 900 plate to put back on if things go a bit wrong! Hats off to you for doing this
you can order the plate right from pioneer for $40, I did that before I tried just incase shit broke, lol

Hi Everyone,
I know I’m reviving an old thread here, but I can say I now have the solution to this rotary problem. I have come up with a complete drop-in kit (much like the pioneer version) that requires nothing more than a screwdriver. It even uses the same plastic connectors for the wiring. They are powder coated and laser etched to match the original as close as possible. I’m selling them for $200 each, or in white for the limited editions, $250.00. You can pm me for info.
