Hello Everyone! I’m new to the forums, i just picked up an s2 the other day and i downloaded the s2 mapping here on DJTT, now i also saw the armyofme4340 video on creating the drama sweep effect and i was looking at remapping it to the jog wheels as a fourth effect using the light from the effect deck on/off button. The problem is i just cant seem to get it to work, i am familiar with mappings but i have never attempted anything quite this complicated.
Any help in mapping a fourth effect to the jog wheels would be greatly appreciated!
You need to add one more value for in this case M6 and M7 to both jog encoders and LED outputs also. Goes something like this:
Modifier 6 (in) tempo reset/value 0 M1=1 / M6=5
Modifier 6 (in) encoder/relative 10% M1=1 / M6=2
Modifier 6 (in) encoder/relative 10% M1=1 / M6=3
Modifier 6 (in) encoder/relative 10% M1=1 / M6=4
Modifier 6 (in) encoder/relative 10% M1=1 / M6=5 (additional, FX on/off button)
Modifier 6 (in) button/direct value: 2 M1=1 / M6=6 (modified)
Modifier 6 (in) button/direct value: 5 M1=1 / M6=1 (modified)
Modifier 6 (out) FX on/off button M1=1 (controller range 5/5) (additional)
Modifier 6 (out) FX 1 button M1=1 (controller range 2/2)
Modifier 6 (out) FX 2 button M1=1 (controller range 3/3)
Modifier 6 (out) FX 3 button M1=1 (controller range 4/4)
You need to repeat this exact commands for M7 but with first modifier conditions of M2=1(it says I only work when shift is hold) and M7 instead of M6.
Now, add all those Drama parameters with modifier conditions M6=5 for left jog and M7=5 for right.
FX select(direct) and FX on)hold) learn with jog touch
FX dry/wet and FX 1,2,3 amount learn with jog turn
