Do any controllers allow unplugging of media source without disrupting playback?

Noob question alert:

I’m looking into buying my first controller (from a CDJ background), and I was wondering…

Suppose I turn up to DJ with my laptop, prepared with all my music and settings. There’s a DJ already playing, and his laptop is plugged into the controller while he does his thing. If I unplug his laptop to connect mine, I assume that’s total silence?

Do any Traktor controllers allow for swapping of kit (e.g. computer/memory stick etc) while DJ’s swap over?

Traktor Kontrol S4, S8 and Z2 allow you to connect your phone/ipod while you swap the USB. Some Serato Rane audio interfaces and the Pioneer DDJ-SZ do have dual USB ports so you can easily swap between DJs without having to connect extra media or having any silence.

Most gigs you will bring your own controller and run it into a house mixer, that way there is no interruptions.
