Do the CDJ850’s Work as MIDI controllers?

I’m planning on getting to CDJ850’s in the near future. I’m trying to break away from a computer based setup but I don’t have the cash for the mixer yet. Will the 850’s work as controllers? I know the have a built in soundcard which is amazingly convenient. Let me know,

Thats one damn expensive midi controller,
the 400s work through HID as well.

400s have rubbish jogwheels though. Not entirely sure if the 850s have fully supported HID yet, there was loads of hassle for a while. same with the 2000s

I had a set of 850’s and they worked fine as controllers and HID in traktor.
