After some serious scratching on my SE, I’ve worn out one of my jog wheels and now it wobbles and doesn’t trigger properly. I’m concerned because tightening the plates didn’t work, so now I’m going to have to go into the unit and tighten it up. I think this will be a reacurring with my heavy hands.
That is why I’m seriously looking at the VCI-300 and ITCH. Is there anyone interested in a VCI-100SE? It’s practically new except for the wobbly jog wheel and a moddified fader knob that I doubled in size. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll set something up through Ebay.
for just pure scratching you really cant beat itch and the 300. For more advanced digital dj stuff the SE is still the way to go for sure. Sorry to hear that your wheel has gone bad- are you located in the US?
I just fixed the wheel. It’s working 100%, but my technique of scratching might cause it to continually loosen itself. That’s why I’m looking to sell it and get a 300 that has jog wheels better designed for the impact I give em. Anyone interested?? Let me know. I’m including my Traktor upgrade (optional). PM me if interested.

You might have to purchase new plates for it as I had modified the crossfader section, but other than a few cosmetic changes, it’s the same excellent machine. Also a new replacement knob for the cross fader is needed. It’s a standard Vestax knob that everyone sells. I know because I made sure before modifying mine, just in case I would need to get a replacement.
I put an apoxy mold over the standard cross fader knob to improve my crab scratching. You can easily purchase a standard replacement knob at http://www.vstservice.com/
A side note: I will be shipping Worldwide, so if you mix dance, techno, house, progressive or any other brand of Euro then don’t miss your chance on this monster of a machine!!
