Does the VCI-300 or VFX-1 have a loop roll?

A loop roll effect like on the Twitch, where it rolls the beat on which you activate the effect, then continues playing from where the track would be had you not done anything.

I know that the loop roll effect is in Itch, so it should be possible, but is it mapped to the the VCI-300 or VFX-1?

controllers are dumb… it is the software that is smart, so you can map any action or parameter to any button/slider/knob/led you choose, you don’t have to rely on the hardware anymore. I use VDJ and it allows as many possibilities as you can think of, I think traktor allows 8 different variables for each, which is plenty..

There’s no real “mapping” for Itch. You can map key board shortcuts to another controller and that’s about it.

Either way, yes you can loop roll in Itch on all the controllers. I believe for the VCI-300 it’s shift + autoloop.
