Done with TSP 2 !!!

So disappointed in Native Instruments !!! Everything from support to the software it’s all garbage !!!I recent bought the kontrol s4 with a brand new MacBook pro 15 inch quad core processor and i7 amazing computer !!! However the TSP 2 complete garbage !!! Update to the newest drivers and newest software and yesterday did a private gig and I had nothing but problems !!! Songs skipping out freezing ECT !!! Thank god I was at a event like a club or bar !!! Hopefully I’m uninstalling TSP 2 today and just installing the kontrol s4 software maybe that will work better !!!

I just bought a MacBook 2.4Ghz, TP2 and a Kontrol x1 and I’ve had no problems at all…

but maybe he installed some software on his mac that makes that he go latency issues

You could try a few ways of sorting it out before giving up and ranting. Just saying.

Was wifi and bluetooth off?

Yes wifi and bluetooth was off … However it can’t be a latency problem my latency is at 11 … Trust me I’ve been have problems with PC and now my brand new MacBook pro !!! I use the s4 the x1 and akai lpd8 !! My CPU bar is super low and doesn’t move !! The software is garbage …

And when I start everything up and not even playing a track I get a pop randomly like every 3 minutes ???

I seriously think it’s bc I downloaded it from the site and didn’t have a disk to install it ???

What should I do install the s4 software or re instal TSP 2 ??? I really can’t afford to have these problems ?? I’m thinking about even going back to the original TSP ??

Getting the digital version has no impact in performance.

Did you update to 2.0.3? (always reboot after updating)

Also everything is updated to the newest software and driver

Sounds like latency to me. Or a digital clock/sync issue, but if you’re only running one device surely shouldn’t be a problem…

On your Mac, open applications/utilities/activity monitor to see if anything else is running that shouldn’t be. It could be some rouge app or extension doing damage.

Also, open applications/utilities/console to see if something is going wrong. It’s a bit verbose, but you should be able to tell if something isn’t running right.

My gut feeling is that it’s your Mac rather than the S4. Thousands of people are running it just fine.

I did reboot after installing … This happen the next day after I installed the update like it was horrible and embarrassing I bought a MacBook pro so I would have these problems

Even MACs have problems and even the best DJs in the world have issues. Most people will understand it’s not something your trying to do so just try to correct the problem. Also if you had problems with TP2 what makes you think that switching it to he S4 software would be any better one is built on the other.

i still to this day, prefer the old sound drivers to the new ones, stupid latency crap. they are still in the service center, but since i have an s4 i don’t know if it would work going back on audio drivers.

sounds to me like you have a serious O.E. problem that you need to get sorted

*O.E. = operator error, i.e. do you know what ur doing?

Of course I know what I’m doing I’ve been using traktor ever since the beginning … Sorry if I’m coming off as an asshole but it’s so stressful and annoying !!! Everytime I start a set I’m so nervous something is going to happen when in playing live …
