You must have Traktor 1.24 or later to use this file otherwise it will not import properly.
These files are compatible with firmware 1.2/1.3/1.4
To Load this file
Select the BIG import button in the lower left hand corner of the preferences tab
If this is your first time loading the TSI file, please load it 2 TIMES for the fx to load properly.
The 1st and 2nd time you run Traktor after importing this TSI file, the controller may lock up in fader fx mode. Just quit and re-open the program twice and the issue should go away.
What Settings to Load
MIDI: Everyone
EFFECTS: Everyone (please load this file twice if you are using it for the first time to load the FX properly)
LAYOUT: Only if you want the layout to change when switching decks from A/B to C/D. To customize your own, modify the layouts in position 1 and 3.
ALL OTHER SETTINGS: Import these if you want the Pitch fader to be set to 8%, and for deck copy to work perfectly.
WHAT CHANGED?
Added support for the high res faders and jogs in firmware 1.4
Changed back original Play/Pause functionality. Use Shift + Play to “Re-Play”.
Changed back the chained FX presets in the effect section (4 knobs and buttons) to old style
Shift + FX Preset 1 now turns on/off the Audio Recorder
Shift + Gain knob makes Gain have soft takeover
Shift + Headphone level controls Master Volume
Fixed Key knob functionality (Shift + Filter)
Made 2 tsi versions to fix incompatibility issues (FW 1.3 & FW 1.4). Note: FW 1.4 version will still work with older firmwares.
Other minor bug fixes
Updated walk through pdf to match mapping changes
Please also check that your In and Out ports are properly set to your VCI-100 (i.e., Vestax PC Controller)

tested all new features and the bug fixes seem to have worked brilliantly! Key function now works properly, knob just needs to be moved and reset to centre the first time you use it. Well thought out added features as well, like the dedicated record button.
Getting picky, but would be nice to have a recording output LED since having the recorder up hides the right hand 2 FX banks. Maybe one or all of the FX preset LEDs, since their function is a little confusing when using both FX banks? What do people think?
i’ve found one issue, maybe it’s a known one but anyway…
when you have FADER FX mode enabled and you press slice or echo button then FADER FX mode is getting disabled. Moreover you cannot control anything with your jog, pitch and volume faders until you press FADER FX button couple more times…
I guess the standard debugging procedure, reimport the tsi using the big IMPORT button once or twice and close down traktor and restart it a couple of times.
also I wanna know what’s happening with volume fader when you push it slightly harder then you should up to the top? Volume control is getting crazy in traktor.

yesterday i’ve updated my firmware to 1.4 version and it seems that everything was ok.
I’ve been having this bug since I had bought my vci but i didnt pay attention on it.
The new mapping 3.6.4 isn’t working for me (I’m on MacOS) neither PC version nor MAC one. The previous 3.6.3 only PC version was installed properly. That MAC tsi didn’t work either
I’m importing it by clicking prefs → import in bottom left corner

Ok guys, found out where was the problem.
When u import the TSI file goto prefs/Controller Management and select Vestax device then you’ll see that wrong ports were selected (n/a)..
that bug with FADER FX was fixed in 3.6.4 version. I’m kinda happy
the problem with volume fader still appears and it seems that left piece of crap was broken. Do you know how if there’s any chance to replace it? Cause the right fader’s working perfectly. Thanks in advance
I am pretty sure that you are experiencing the bug that comes up if you don’t close and re-open Traktor twice after importing the tsi. This comes up in Fader FX mode after using the Slice/Echo buttons. It throws a modifier off and seems frozen until you press the Fader FX button again at which point it resets the messed up modifier state.
If you import the tsi, close Traktor, open Traktor, close Traktor, and finally open Traktor again and at this point are still getting this bug then something is going wrong.
In general though, using Slice and Echo will disengage Fader FX mode to allow for use of the jog wheels.
I think you already figured this out but it seems that this is not a mapping or firmware issue. It looks like your left level fader is having issues. If you can replicate the behavior exactly on the right side then something may be wrong but I would highly doubt it.
absolutely correct. You restart it couple times, apply tsi once again and for five minutes it will work fine. But if you’ll start doing some crazy stuff as Ean peforming mixing slice\echo and FADER FX mode then it’ll get broken. I’ll make a new proof video for you
yep, exactly this is the problem with the left fader cause the right one works perfectly.
