Unfortunately, Win 7 I suspect is not letting me separately focus two midi fighters in Traktor in the same way E.Golden does in his video. The in & out drop down menus used for TSI import just have MF and MF classic as options when I try the decalized mapping. I tried all the mappings in fact. I know a suggestion could be “make sure you use the focus drop down menu…” that’s not it.
Subsequently, both fighters play the same deck. Perhaps it’s the Mac that makes it possible. I was hoping there was a fix like four banks mode (apparently that’s not it). Maybe this requires a firmware update? Has anyone have two fighter rolling in Win 7? Please and thanks.
Thanks for that prompt reply though I had tried that. Just now again. Tried alternative ports… everything I can think of. Should I post a print screen?
Alright I got it… import again so there’s a duplicate tsi… then select deck B on the second import group and then select midi fighter in the i/o in the instead of midi fighter classic that’s on deck A with the first group…
It works… I wish it was easier then that but… it’s just a small proprietary controller, as sexy as it is.
I do like these extra analog ports on the side. I’ll make use of that eventually…
I know there’s a thread of MF porn… and that cigar box mod thread.. but, I’d like to see more MF mods
Glad you got it sorted. Now export your mapping so you have it saved that way.
Check my Sig for our mod project should be putting up a blog about it soon(been promising for a while but been super busy)
now that’s eye candy… just when i was resigning myself to the idea i can’t have it all.. apparently you proved you can.
moving on… Traktor, Win 7, and LaunchPad don’t want to get along. So much for making LaunchPad my ‘mixer’ in between (not a question for the forum). I learned long ago, “instant gratification” is a misnomer for this hobby
