dumb question about flight cases

dumb question about flight cases

I just got a pair of flight cases for my new turntables. at the bottom there is a hole drilled out and one on the side too. these are covered by an Odyssey metal logo thing.

does the bottom one have to be taken off for ventilation?

as soon as i get a screw driver im going to pop off the side one to allow the cables to go through, i was just wondering if i should release the bottom one as well.

i think maybe the bottom is for cables as well, depending on how you arranged all your cases?

can’t see why you’d need to vent a turntable?

thanks BradCee. thought so too just making sure! their website said something about a pit allowing for ventilation lol.

specially the black (plastic) flightcases NEED ventilation if you are going to take them on an actual flight.
They are so well sealed, that if you do not have the vent, THEY WILL EXPLODE during flight !
