eans latest 2.2 mapping info needed!

heya

im trying to get work out some sort of mapping involving my DIY controller and my yet-to-be-received vci100 se. can any one please tell me which of the modifiers in the traktor midi mappings correspond to the juggle mode switch, the deck c/d switch, the fader fx swtich and the ‘shift’ key. please :smiley:

You can load the TSI even without the VCI-100. So you can check yourself.

This is what I remember from the top of my head:
shift active is M7=1
deck C active is M4=1
deck D active is M8=2
fader fx active is M2=3
juggle mode active is M3=1

Cool cheers! I know you can view the tsi but without the vci it’s just numbers and you can tell what is what!

Even with the VCI-100, it’s still just numbers.

yeh but as it is i have no idea which numbers correspond to which buttons; with the vci i would be able to press the button and see which midi value it is using through the midi mapper in traktor pro wouldn’t i

right .. all the more reasons for Ean to start adding comments to his tsi.

In case it might be of help, here’s a spreadsheet that I made, listing the 2.2 mapping’s MIDI commands and buttons they correspond to on the VCI.

A few notes on this:

  1. The ‘VCI Button’ column refers to the original button labels (without the overlay).
  2. Entries that have a #N/A value for the button seem to be for FW 1.2 compatibility (these functions are duplicated with other entries for FW 1.3).
  3. If you are using FW 1.2, you can unhide column J to view mappings for that firmware.
