Ean’s top secret video

Remember at the beginning of the Midi Fighter Pro drop post Ean mentioned he was in LA shooting a top secret video that we’d see shortly. Who wants to bet money that this could be a new NI product video?

Don’t make a lot of sense for NI to release something big and new now hardware-wise, I thibk they are busy enough pushing the stuff they already got on us. In six months time maybe.

dj craze mentions on some twttr msg that he was at the NI office and playing with something crazy “future of djing” or something..

On the subject of NI though, I look for something big from them at BPM. A teaser video in the next couple of weeks would make sense.

In all seriousness, i’m thinking of maybe a new X1. Either completely new, or just re-designed.

Yeah, I was thinking a 2-4 channel mixer type thing. Would love to finally see a real turntable style controller with a built-in tone generator for scratch (i.e. no need for CDs or vinyl). Something with a hi-res jog appx the size of a CDJ jog with compact controls for loops cues etc.. But could still be used in non-scratch versions of Traktor
My pants would get a little tighter if something like that came out…for 300-500 a piece.
