Echo FX Bank is Delay?

Hi Guys.

I have noticed when i engage the Fx bank B and select the “Echo” effect in my traktor it appears to select the “Delay” effect.I have tried channel a and b and same result.

Is this how it must work or am I missing something???

Thats how it works.

Delay and Echo are just different words for the same effect. Some prefer one or the other- although the pioneer djm 500 does differentiate them in a strange way.

Pioneer defines Delay as One Repeat Sound and Echo as Multiple Repeat Sounds.

Personally, I’ve always used Delay and not Echo (so I really like this)…but I can understand some confusion when the button is labeled for Echo.
