Effecting the voice in realtime using Ableton Live

Hi all.
I’d like to know if there is the possibility to effect, in realtime, my voice using Ableton Live.
I suppose to use:

  • Ableton live
  • an external soundcard (maybe a FOCUSRITE Scarlett 2i4)
  • one mic
  • my laptop
  • an external midi controller (Native Kontrol F1 or other wifi midi controllers)

Anyone can help me ? There are other softwares that do so ?

Yes you can, With the exact setup you mentioned. Just drop whatever effects you want to use on the channel you are using for your mic and start effecting.

Ill.gates just updated his APC performance template and it now has a mic channel with effects. Super sweet for life performance.

I’ll use the Hot Hand USB controller to control the parameters via bt with one hand :slight_smile:

I’ve got a TC Helicon Voicetone Synth, but I’d like to use ableton live and the HotHand USB controller. It’s more “scenic” for live performances, don’t you think so ?
