effects in traktor pro dont work

effects in traktor pro dont work

Hello everyone,

I just upgraded to traktor pro and somehow I cant get the effects to work. If I turn them on nothing happens. I am using the following equipment:

  • VCI-100 with SE overlay and new TSI files
  • Traktor Pro
  • M-audio NRV10 Mixer/Audio Card

I have checked the effects settings. There are set to insert and chained and I am using the internal traktor pro mixer.

Another info. I can control the effects section with the VCI-100, that is not the issue. Even if i set everything manually with the mouse the effects dont work.

Did you:

Turn on the effect on the effect itself, and then did you turn on the effect on the channel? There are 2 buttons, 1 and 2… Sorry for the stupid question, but I made that mistake myself.

Thanks for your quick response. I guess no question is stupid. I didnt even notice the two buttons. I just clicked on 1 for deck A and 2 for Deck B and now the effects work.

For others who are having this problem, on the screen between the ‘key’ and the ‘gain’ button you must “activate” the deck you want to use for your FX

Read the manual guys! It’s all in there and if you don’t then you’ll be missing out on features you don’t even know exist.

I have just this very second got back from the shop where beer is exactly what I was buying, but thanks for that!

By the way, many man points if you can tell me the brand of beer which gave me the idea for my username back when i was about 15…
