Electribe + DJIO

Hey guys I was just curious, if I were to to run my electribe through my DJ IO via the microphone input would it just be an audio through or would it actually run through a spare deck in Traktor.
Also, if this setup wont work what soundcard would be a good option if I need inputs and outputs. I was looking at the NI Audio 6, but I was wondering if anything cheaper existed.

the mic is just a through on the djio.
you dont need another deck.
just be sure to do a sound check ahead of time to get the volume right.
