It looks like a really cool spot for a festival. I brought it up with some friends as not something we’d go to this year, but maybe next year, but I got mixed reviews. As we try to go to WEMF, Starscape, and Ultra yearly I want to change it up a bit, but I guess we’ve become (as a group) kind of particular about what excites us to go out and see.
Seriously though, those trees? crazy.

yeah they had Rothbury Festival up there for a few years, but this year its different management with ties to string cheese incident i believe. and yes, sherwood forest is beast!!!
I am trying to make it out to ultra or starscape next year, but our annual one we are trying to make it to this year is Rootwire Music and Arts festival, if you could make it to any fest, thatd be the one, 4 days for $65 bucks, and lots of good music and art. My favorite fest last year and it was only their first one, not bad at all!!

That’s what I’ve heard, we’ve been regulars to All Good Festival for a couple years, but after last summer we were ready for something different. If your going pm me, bringin the S4 out for some chill late night sets back at the campsite!

Don’t get too exited like I did, not impressed with his live sets at all. He can’t mix for shit, he jut runs down his beat songs like he’s playing them off of iTunes, but you should go out cause there’s alot of good music that weekend anyway!!

Oh really? Damn that sucks! I love how he uses a monome in his set up tho
this. from what i heard they are prerecorded as well. all he really does is tip his hat and turn on and off some effects.

Right on man! Like I said of I get my inverter in on time, I’m gonna have my s4 set up, probably on thursday night since everything ends early that night, and atlases two more times through out the weekend. Pm me if you want to meet up and spin for a bit.

And as for pretty lights, I was a pretty big fan of his producing and was so excited to see him live, but I saw bassnectar like week before, and I seriously almost started laughing at pretty lights, the dude cannot mix, about three times music stopped completely, for at least 5 seconds. I don’t even know why he uses two laptops?! Great tracks to dance to but the dude has no flow live at all…I really don’t know why he is placed so high on show flyers…
marketability lol.
i am not going, but our friend (one of the blog co-founders) moved to chicago a little while ago, so thats out chicago branch lol. Ill talk to him and see if he can meet up.
