Electro/Dubstep?

Electro/Dubstep?

Just finished this one. Kind of a Dada Life feel to it (at least that’s what I was going for)

Let me know what you guys think!

And yes I know its also in my sig

Do your plugins go to 11? :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahhh haha. I had the biggest grin when I read that.

Strangely those studio videos of them are what made me want to make this track. I’m primarily a dubstep producer but that got me in the electro mood haha. :sunglasses:

Thanks for listening btw!!

sounds good very very similar to dada life

Woo thanks!

Big Dada Life fan - And I must say your track sounds just as good! Wicked song

Its got just enough sausage !

that was a pretty solid track

Thanks to everyone for listening and the feedback once again!

Yeahhh haha thanks man! I spent hours trying to fatten that thing up, I wish the guys would sell that VST it looks pretty clean haha.

yes very dada life. good job I’m really digging this, you should send it to them next time they review demos. also what VST are you talking about?

here is a link to them with the VST on their screen

Its used to help fatten the song up.
Apparently its made especially for them and you cannot buy it. yet…

Thank you!!
And I would love. They are huge inspirations of mine, I would be eternally stoked if they even glanced at it haha.

And as far as the VST goes the video up there is a good example of what it looks like. According to their Twitter its called the “Sausage Fattener”. I think its some kind of distorter/dimesion expander effect. It has two knobs labeled “Fatness” and “Color”. Would really love to try it out haha

Haha, I would have too, super mad grinnin’ like this guy

How did you emulate their sound?

Haha exactly!

And believe it or not its one simple saw wave I made with FL’s 3x Oscillator. Woulda done it with Massive but I was trying to save CPU.

There’s no VST that can get you this sound, it just takes a ton of sidechaining and compression. I also put a very quiet layer of white noise underneath it to give it that buzzing high frequency sound that makes it so gritty
