hm well. if you would have read the blog or watched the video you wouldn´t be that harsh! ali/hedgehog made a review about it! this is no add or a “wow-this-controller-looks-awsome-blablabla-post”.
there is a guy who took his time to review on this and you are bashing his effort! i´m not a fan of the emulator thing neither is ali (it sounds like in his review) but he tried at least to explain how it works.
this is no silly bad quality video of a guy throwing some tiesto tracks on a big screen! this is a review! and it has it´s right to exist!
This is different, it’s not the same video that’s been posted a million times. Very few people have actually reviewed this thing so that’s why it’s still here.
Sorry dude I couldn’t watch the video cos I’m at work. Read your blog post but didn’t find anything particularly new so I judged you with a fist of fury.
Thanks for pointing this out.
My conclusion remains that this isn’t the future of DJing.
The purpose of the video was to show that touch-interfaces are more than just ordinary user-interfaces with bigger buttons. At least they can be if there’s thought put into what can be achieved with this new technology.
To all the haters: Watch the video!
@josh: That’s similar to what I experienced on that sunny day.
Edit: Mr. Smithson contacted me himself and made some comments. I won’t do another review but I’ll add some annotations and add information to both blog-posts.
